For the golfing tourist, there are 40 courses within 1 hour’s drive of central Pattaya, The courses in these regions are of international standard, equally challenging and designed by luminaries like Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo, Pete Dye and Peter Thompson. The region’s top courses, Siam Plantation (for the last 3 years has won the best maintained golf course in Asia) and Siam Old Course (host to the LPGA event each February) are must play courses while you are here.
Adding to the golfing popularity of Pattaya, it was voted in 2012 the No 1 golf destination outside Europe and America.
